A striking archival bustier top from Emanuel Ungaro’s Solo Donna line, dating to the late 1980s. Crafted in Italy from a substantial turquoise cotton-viscose ottoman, the pronounced ribbed texture gives the piece its beautifully structured, architectural form.
The sharply pointed strapless neckline follows into an intensely defined waist, opening below into a sculptural basque with dramatic curved panels that frame the hips. A particularly strong example of Ungaro’s bold, feminine approach to late-1980s tailoring.
