A rare archival knit dress by pioneering British designer Joe Casely-Hayford, dating to his independent London collections of the late 1980s to early 1990s. A striking example of Casely-Hayford’s experimental approach to textile and construction, transforming a restrained silhouette through sculptural surface detail. A distinctive surviving piece from an important period in British fashion.
